Growing up, I was mostly a fan of wearing lip gloss and natural lipstick colors like Cinnamon Roll by NYX. It was only during┬аmy senior year of high school, which was primarily spent in the hospital battling Leukemia, that I grew to finally love bright red lipstick.
┬аChemo and radiation can truly take a toll on your looks, so make-up became especially important to helping me feel good about myself. However, heavy make-up like foundation, powders and blushes were medically forbidden. That left lipstick, which I started wearing to give my face a bit of color and pop.
┬аThe first red lipstick I was introduced to was Ruby Woo by Mac Cosmetics. And while it was really great, I wanted something with a bit more staying power. This led me on a quest that eventually ended with my purchasing what I now consider to be the best darn red lipstick on the planet: Kiss of Fire by Dose of Colors.
┬аThis lipstick is super matte, super red and perfect for women with darker skin tones. My color changes drastically throughout the year. And while I have to switch and mix-and-match different foundations to accommodate my changing color, Kiss of Fire remains a constant. No matter how light or dark I get, this lipstick always looks good. See. ЁЯСЗЁЯП╜

Kiss of Fire is anazing. I used to love Really Red by Sephora, but I think they changed the formula because now it more orangey. So glad I found this brand.
That’s a gorgeous color on you. Never heard of Dose of Colors before. I’ll have to check that brand out on my next big makeup haul.
