African Black Soap Paste and our African Black Soap Bars are made from the same traditional formula. The difference is simply the texture. Choose the bar if you prefer a solid soap, or the paste if you enjoy a softer, more flexible consistency.

African Black Soap Paste is highly concentrated. A small amount is all that’s needed.

Lightly wet your fingers, washcloth, or Salux
Gently rub over the surface of the paste to pick up product
Work into a lather between your hands or directly onto skin
Apply to face or body, then rinse thoroughly

African Black Soap Paste is made without stabilizers or hardeners and may soften or melt when exposed to high temperatures. This does not affect the quality or performance of the product.

To preserve its texture:

Keep the lid tightly closed when not in use
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat or sunlight

If the paste softens during transit or warm weather, allow it to cool at room temperature before use.

Works just like the soap but lasts so much longer. Soap last for a few weeks, maybe 2 or 3. The jar lasts for about 2 months. I only use it on my face. I wet my hands and rub it over the paste and that makes a pretty good lather. I apply it to my face and then rinse. That simple. The soap is better if you want to bathe using a wash cloth or a loofah. Just easier to use. But if you primarily use the soap on your face, get the jar and save yourself a couple of dollars.

I started using the Black Soap Paste about two weeks ago and I love it! My skin looks great and a little goes a long way.

I must have been using this wrong

I must have been using this wrong. Didn't quit get a lather out of the paste. Maybe someone could give me some instructions.

JUST LIKE THE BAR SOAP

Never heard of African Black Paste Soap when I purchased it. But seeing as the bar soap was out of stock I tried this. It is exactly the same as the bar sop, but paste form. It really is that simple. I actually like it more than the soap because it lasts longer. I used this to maintain my acne and it works well. Can’t complain. Thanks.

Pretty good for acne

I recently tried out the African Black Soap Paste cleanser and I have to say, I was impressed. The texture of the paste is a little different from what I'm used to, but it spreads easily and feels like butter on my skin. After using it for a few days, I noticed that my dark spots looked brighter and acne bumps are drying up and kind of crusting and falling off. Overall, I would recommend giving this cleanser a try if you're looking for a quick and effective way to cleanse your skin.
