Our Black Soap Paste is traditional African black soap in its natural, unpressed form, crafted using time-honored methods and plant-based ingredients. It offers the same cleansing properties as the bar, with added flexibility and ease of use.

Naturally rich in plant ash and oils, this soap gently cleanses while helping maintain the skin’s natural balance. Customers love it for its ability to leave skin feeling clean, refreshed, and comfortable—without the tight, stripped feeling often caused by conventional cleansers.

Its versatile texture makes it suitable for multiple uses, including facial cleansing, full-body washing, and shaving. Because this is a true, traditional soap, natural variations in color, texture, and scent are normal and expected.

Please note: African Black Soap Paste and African Black Soap are the same product in different forms.

Lightly wet your fingers or a washcloth and glide across the surface of the paste to activate. Lather, apply to skin, and rinse. There’s no need to scoop. A small amount goes a very long way.

African Black Soap Paste is highly concentrated. A small amount is all that’s needed.

Lightly wet your fingers, washcloth, or Salux
Gently rub over the surface of the paste to pick up product
Work into a lather between your hands or directly onto skin
Apply to face or body, then rinse thoroughly

African Black Soap Paste is made without stabilizers or hardeners and may soften or melt when exposed to high temperatures. This does not affect the quality or performance of the product.
