TREATING BACK ACNE

BACK ACNE

Unfortunately, the face is not the only area of the body people can experience acne. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, the second most popular spot people experience breakouts is on their backs (bacne).

If you are dealing with mild bacne, know that you can put a stop to the breakouts by using a number of over-the-counter products, many of them all-natural and preservative free, as well as following a few key rules.

Many of our users, myself included, have put a stop to bacne, buttne (butt acne) and even Keratosis Pilaris, by using a combination of Black Soap and the Salux Exfoliating Beauty Cloth.

Exfoliating is a huge part of treating bacne, and nothing does a better job than a Salux. This cloth has been a lifesaver for so many people. Its tough, and yet gentle at the same time. The Salux exfoliates without stripping the skin of its natural oils, or causing microscopic tears in the skin like other exfoliating cloths/gloves do.

When paired with one of our Black Soaps, Salux will do an amazing job at treating body acne, all without ever exposing you to chemicals that actually exacerbate the problem.

And FYI, despite popular lore, people with acne can and should use a moisturizer- preferably one that is non-comedogenic. Our My Everything Cream is made with Nilotica Shea Butter, Shea Nut Oil and Royal Jelly. It won’t clog your pores, is fragrance free, and contains no preservatives.
