AUTHENTIC AFRICAN BLACK SOAP

We all know African Black Soap is a winner when it comes to fighting skin conditions like acne and dark spots. But did you know you can also use it to do things like clarify your hair, remove deodorant build-up from your clothes, and even get out old, dried blood?

I have been experimenting with this miracle soap for some time now, and have come to the conclusion that African Black Soap is something every household should have on hand due to its many uses.

I was hand-washing a number of my daughter’s delicate garments the other day, when I came across the usual problems we have with her shirts: white deodorant stains that are nearly impossible to get out. In front of me at the sink was a bar of African Black Soap, and so, I decided to give it a try. Sure enough, with little to no effort, I massaged the soap over the stain, and it dissolved the deodorant in seconds… no scrubbing needed.

A few months back I came across more of my daughter’s clothes, this time with old dried blood. As always, I grabbed the African Black Soap that was nearby and hoped for the best. To my utter amazement, the soap easily got out the dried blood, and a very expensive garment was saved from the garbage heap.

Likewise, I have also noticed that any type of build-up, whether on the hair or skin, will easily be dissolved by using African Black Soap. If your hair feels limp from years of using heavy butters and pomades, you may need to clarify, using African Black Soap as your shampoo. The same goes for your skin, if it looks dull or you’ve noticed the area under your arms feels coated or looks ashen, you probably have deodorant build-up and should cleanse with African Black Soap and a Salux Exfoliating Cloth.

We sell this marvel in two sizes, one 8 ounces and the other 16 ounces. For ease of use in bathing and shampooing, we naturally recommend the easy-to-hold, 8-ounce oval bar. But for bigger jobs around the house, like laundry, we suggest the large 16-ounce size. Both sizes are pretty long-lasting, so long as you do not leave them sitting in water. ABS melts easily, so make sure you always store it in its own soap dish, preferably one that allows water to leak through the bottom.

And don't forget, if ABS is used on the hair or skin it should always be followed-up with an intensive moisturizer, like our popular 'My Everything Cream.'

Update: We now sell African Black Soap in paste form
